Clanfield Nursery School has been established for over 40 years, caring for generations of village children. Parents, who themselves attended the pre-school, are now bringing their own children to this trusted and much-loved nursery school.
In January 2018, Mrs Joann Baker became the new owner of Clanfield Nursery School. Joann, who is a fully qualified teacher with 15 years of experience, worked as the deputy manager at CNS for 2 years prior to becoming owner. Apart from extensive early years and management skills, Joann specialises in working with children with Special Educational Needs.
Based in St James Church Hall on the edge of the South Downs National Park, Clanfield Nursery School is ideally located in Old Clanfield with easy access and parking nearby.
We take a maximum of 24 children per session from the age of 2 years to 4 years and 11 months, term time only. We offer indoor and outdoor provision in a safe environment. We provide snacks twice a day, which are healthy and yummy. Children bring their own lunch.
We are registered with Ofsted and at our last inspection we were rated “good”.
Our primary aim at Clanfield Nursery School is to help children take their first steps away from home and family, to learn to trust adults other than their parents and relatives, and to share experiences in a larger group.
We pride ourselves on our personal approach and the close relationships we build up with both children and parents.
Our dedicated staff, are passionate in ensuring that every child can learn and develop in a fun, safe environment.
We are always happy to talk to parents and can be contacted on 023 9264 5805 during term time.
Clanfield Nursery School is proud to care for your children at the heart of our village.
